On hands and knees, I was rummaging under the bed in our van when it struck me that yoga had prepared me for this moment – the puppy pose let me see into our storage compartment. Yoga poses are useful for travel.

The Scottish bus driver chewed me out when I flashed my day pass and stepped around the elderly lady still fumbling for coins in her purse. Lineups have their own varying cultures, and you flout the unwritten rules at your peril.
