Could I learn the Gotheborg’s ropes… in Swedish?

Whorls upon rolls upon rings of neatly coiled ropes, piled on the deck, looped around cleats and, of course, formed the rigging. So many ropes. That’s what struck me as we stepped aboard the Gotheborg.

Roman around Conimbriga, we marvelled at mosaics and baths

Each tiny little square of ceramic – white, black, tan, brick red, greeny-bluish – isn’t much on its own but together they form beautiful mosaic images that are the highlight of Conimbriga, a Roman city ruin in central Portugal.
